Our company operates
in both the domestic and international markets

Organic, sustainable and women-produced coffees. We offer traceability, transparency, added value, and sustainable local development. Our flavors are designed in communion with the cycles of nature.

The project started at Fazenda Cachoeira in the region of Campo das Vertentes in Minas Gerais state. Apará is the result of our desire to share with our community the knowledge we gained after years of organic, climate-smart coffee farming and high quality processing at Fazenda Cachoeira, which is organic certified since 1994.

We think it is possible to increase our impact to rehabilitate and restore ecosystem services and biodiversity when decision are made together. Our community thinks adaptation strategies for the challenges we face at the same time we invest in exquisite coffee varieties and research flavor modulation through processing.

We at Apará Cafés Especiais honor the nature, the water, the womanhood and the Afro-descendants who built the history of coffee in Brazil.

We value activities that respect the cycles of nature and cooperate with the environmental balance of the territory where we produce. Our name honors Oxum Apará, an Afro-Brazilian deity who protects women and water streams.

We connect stories, places, and people – we transform the world through flavors. Welcome to Apará!
